How We Started..

Who We Are

Ramalingam (Ram) Subramaniam a passionate entrepreneur, wanted to step in the global arena of Trade, Supply Chain and Logistics, co-founded THISAI with Vijayalakshmi Varadharaj. THISAI’s history is backed up by 80 years of business experiences. The cornerstone for THISAI was established by Ramalingam’s grandfathers both of whom, one was a logistics operator and the other an industrialist. He is now the owner of THISAI. Currently THISAI has many clients from across 16 countries working for the benefit of its customers. The company’s name “THISAI” means “DIRECTION” in Tamil – the oldest surviving language in the world. Our logo represents all the 16 directions in a compass and its blue color represents the color of sea and air route. THISAI LLC (THISAI ), was inspired by “Thisai Ayirathu Ettu Ainootruvar” a 10th Century Tamil Trade Organization that actively spread International Trade across South Asian Pacific region, China and Middle East.

We offer Trade consulting for your exports and import needs Globally across many countries, we do not work on countries, if the specific country has any political or governmental policy against a country to which Trade or Trade on a specific product is not allowed. No, THISAI does not import any products directly, or take possession or ownership of any imports unless there is a contract between THISAI and the customer. For, THISAI, to import products directly, depends on various factors such as Niche Market, or product/distribution exclusivity or nominations, etc. Please contact us through our contact page providing more detailed information on your products and your requirements, our expert team member will get in touch with you to discuss further.
